Fleurish Society is the editorial voice of Colorado's most distinguished social landscape. Published as a signature section of The Villager Newspaper, Fleurish chronicles the intersection of fashion, philanthropy, home, health, and lifestyle across Denver's most influential communities.
From the grand tradition of Le Bal de Ballet to the season's most anticipated galas, Fleurish captures the moments that define Colorado society — with the editorial authority and visual elegance the occasion demands.
"The Sweeney Family proudly presents Fleurish — a celebration of the people, traditions, and causes that make our community extraordinary."

In 1800, Pierre Samuel du Pont de Nemours — a Burgundian Huguenot and son of a Parisian watchmaker — fled revolutionary France with his sons. They arrived on American shores with little more than ambition and an aristocrat's knowledge of chemistry.

Éleuthère Irénée du Pont built a gunpowder mill on the banks of the Brandywine River near Wilmington, Delaware. Willow charcoal, saltpeter, and sulfur — the ingredients of an empire. Within decades, DuPont became the largest black powder manufacturer in the world.

From Eleutherian Mills to Winterthur, Nemours, and Longwood Gardens — the DuPont family built some of the most magnificent estates in American history. They helped found the National Trust for Historic Preservation and preserved President Madison's Montpelier.

The DuPonts shaped the Treaty of Paris, brokered the Louisiana Purchase, and sent two senators to Washington. Forbes ranks them #22 among America's richest families at $18.1 billion — a fortune spanning 3,500 living descendants across two centuries.

By the early 20th century, DuPont had transformed from a gunpowder company into a chemical colossus — inventing Nylon, Kevlar, and Teflon. At its peak, the family employed 10% of Delaware's entire population. The name DuPont became synonymous with American industry itself.

Crafted in the spirit of a dynasty that built America — DuPont's Rare American Whiskey is a small-batch tribute to heritage, patience, and uncompromising quality. Every bottle carries the weight of two centuries of distinction.
A curated collection from the season's most distinguished presentations — Denver, Paris, and beyond.
